As of today
- No paid placement in any rating. No company has paid for inclusion, position or wording.
- No affiliate or referral links in the ratings. Links to company sites are ordinary links.
- We take no commission from agencies for clients we send them.
- No company in the lists is our client or pays us for advisory work.
That last point is rechecked each quarter along with the data. If a listed company becomes our client, we either remove it from the list or keep it with a visible label — and record that here, dated.
Our own conflict, said out loud
BizConsulting sells advisory work in marketing, engineering and the other practices these ratings cover. Formally, we are part of the same market.
Hence a hard constraint: we appear in no rating, and we do not place ourselves beside a list as "the alternative".
The conflict is narrower than it looks, though. We do not run ad accounts, do not write code to order, and do not do what the listed companies do — each practice page says so in its disqualifiers. We sit one step earlier, where someone is still choosing a provider.
So the rating has no reason to advertise us. If you already know who you want to hire, the page takes you to them and we earn nothing from it. If you cannot choose between twelve, that is a different problem and it is ours. The block describing that service sits after the rating and is labelled, not woven into the list.
If paid placement appears
It might, eventually. Three rules would then apply, and they are not negotiable:
- Labelled. An advertising block says advertising, not "recommended" or "editor's choice".
- Outside the table. Paid placement sits apart from the rating and takes no position within it.
- Zero effect on the score. Payment changes none of the six criteria and does not accelerate a data review.
A place in the rating itself is not for sale under any terms. This is not a question of price.
Corrections and removal
If your profile contains a factual error, write to us and we will fix it and date the correction. That covers facts: standing, founding year, terms, team composition.
Scores do not change on request. If you think yours is too low, the shortest route is to make the relevant signal public: publish a case study with a client and a period, show the team by name, describe what happens to the ad account. The next quarterly review will pick it up.
We honour requests for removal, but the list keeps a row noting that the company asked to be excluded. A silent disappearance would make the rating untrustworthy.
