Why clients come
- A first export contract with no foreign-trade experience in the company
- The bank keeps returning currency-supervision paperwork
- You are considering a company abroad to settle with buyers
- The settlement deadline approaches and the buyer has not paid
What the diagnostic covers

- The contract read from the currency-supervision side: what the bank will ask, and when
- The settlement deadline calculated for your specific customs code
- Documents per stage, each with an owner and a date
- Whether a foreign entity is actually needed — often it is not
- Timeline
- 7 working days
- We need
- Draft contract, customs codes, servicing bank details
- Deliverable
- Document checklist and a deadline calendar for the contract
Numbers this decision rests on
| Fact | Caveat | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| The general settlement deadline for Ukrainian export and import operations in 2026 is 180 calendar days | National Bank of Ukraine currency supervision | 2026-09-15 |
| Some customs codes differ: part of agricultural output runs to 150 days from 1 July 2026; pipes and rail components (7304, 7305, 7306, 8607) to 270 days from 15 June 2026 | The deadline depends on the goods code and the operation date — verify before signing | 2026-09-15 |
Who this is not for
- Customs clearance of a specific shipment — that is a broker
- One-off "how do I fill this form" questions without reading the contract
- Structures intended to obscure a beneficial owner
We prepare the document flow and the payment route. Customs, logistics and foreign company formation run through specialist providers; we name which ones you need.
FAQ
Do we need an EU company to export?
Usually not. It gets set up for a specific reason — a buyer requirement, a tax regime, access to finance. Without one, it is another legal entity with its own accounting and filings.
Our deadline is running out. Is that your work?
Partly. We will read the situation and say what can be done on the document side, but a dispute with the bank or the tax service goes to a lawyer.
